Welcome!

Holiday Studio is seeking a talented Design Intern with a passion for hospitality and the food & beverage world to join our team (hi, just me 👋) for 3 months in NYC this summer, from June through August. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a (very) small team and help guide Holiday as a studio and brand.

The Role

• For Clients:
  • Assist in crafting brand identities and brand guidelines for a broad range of projects
  • Relevant design / product research and initial reference / mood board building
  • Assist with web design and some building on platforms like Squarespace, Shopify, and Cargo
  • Digital design for clients including social and email design
  • Design product packaging and learn how to work with dielines
  • Merch design including researching product blanks and designing branded apparel and objects using brand guidelines
• For the Studio:
  • Work on building out case studies for the studio website
  • Pack and ship online shop orders
  • Build out social + email campaigns for the studio
  • Organize physical collateral references

We’re Looking For

• The Technical:
  • A student or recent graduate in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Figma + Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience in Squarespace and/or Cargo is a plus
  • Experience working with dielines and packaging is a plus
  • Experience with motion is a major plus!
• The Personal:
  • Someone who takes initiative, is curious, and resourceful
  • A conceptual thinker, any interest in strategy is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your time
  • Intuitive and able to find ways to support the team beyond what you are asked to do
• The Fun:
  • Appreciation for hospitality and the food & beverage industry
  • An interest in small, local shops and products

Details

• Compensation: $160/day
• 2-3 days a week
• Hybrid role, work with me in Chelsea (in NYC) or remote!
• Opportunity for site visits for potential projects
